Earlier, since the 5th, the Korean Life Improvement Yeonggwang-gun Association has been purchasing mask fabric and materials through talent donation and producing masks independently.

The masks being produced this time are pure cotton masks with replaceable filters, ensuring both hygiene and safety, and will be packaged together with replaceable filters and COVID-19 prevention guideline leaflets for distribution.

Governor Kim Junsung said, “Most of the Life Improvement members are engaged in agriculture, and although it is a busy time with the start of the farming season, I am very grateful that they have come together to produce masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” adding, “I hope all residents wisely overcome this crisis through COVID-19 blocking quarantine.”
