On the 9th, Governor Lee posted on Facebook, "This is a typical desk administration that could lead to mass layoffs of security guards who are already struggling," and urged, "Please discuss more thoroughly on-site and collect opinions before implementing."
Earlier, the National Police Agency sent official letters to police stations nationwide at the end of last year, instructing them to issue administrative warnings to apartment and other multi-family housing management companies to comply with the obligations under the Security Services Act regarding security duties by May 31 of this year.
Accordingly, police stations in Chungnam, Daejeon, Incheon, and other areas have recently issued such warnings to apartment complexes within their jurisdictions.
The housing management industry in the province expects that after the guidance period ends, the police will crack down on whether apartment security operations violate the Security Services Act.
