Actor Yuseon Spreading the Warmth of Sharing, Encourages Citizens to Join Zaigle ZWC ‘O2gether’ Oxygen Campaign

The public generally believes that celebrities are public figures who should engage in social responsibility activities and views such involvement positively. However, in Korea, where the culture of sharing through volunteering and donations is not as active as in the US or Europe, there is a preconceived notion that these activities are reserved for those with economic and time resources, leading to a tendency to take celebrities' social responsibility efforts lightly.

However, according to a statistical survey conducted by a research institute, the most common reason for not donating was the lack of accurate information about donations, accounting for 50.9%. This indicates that most people lacked awareness that there are various easy ways for anyone to participate in donations. Another reason was that 11.2% of respondents could not find the right place to donate, showing that a lack of information and knowledge about donation methods also prevented participation. Thus, the majority of the survey points to the absence of information about donations as the main reason for not participating.

In this context, actress Yoo Seon, known as a representative celebrity who regularly practices sharing and volunteering, participated in the Zaigle ZWC ‘O2gether’ Oxygen Campaign, delivering a positive message about donations through warm sharing for children with skin burns.

Yoo Seon, who is known for consistently practicing sharing with neighbors in need, spent a warm time on March 2 meeting a child patient supported by the skin burn child patient support campaign, offering courage and encouragement.

Yoo Seon said, “I wanted to sincerely encourage Suho, who has to endure difficult re-surgeries due to skin burns, so I came to visit him personally,” adding, “I hope many citizens will participate in the Zaigle ZWC ‘O2gether’ Oxygen Campaign and become strong guardian angels for Suho,” encouraging support for the skin burn child patient support campaign.

Zaigle ZWC connects support for children with burns through the ‘O2gether’ campaign. When consumers apply for consultation for the ZWC ‘Face & Body Mask (Oxygen LED Dome)’ on the ZWC website as part of the ‘O2gether’ campaign, 1,000 KRW is automatically donated. After the campaign ends, the donations are used to cover treatment and surgery costs for children with burns. Since all donations are covered by Zaigle ZWC, consumers can participate in this good cause without any financial burden, which is a distinctive feature of this campaign.

A Zaigle ZWC representative said, “Suho suffered a severe burn from his waist to his thigh in an accident at the age of two. As he grew, the burned skin area expanded, requiring multiple treatments. Considering the heavy financial burden on the family, we started this support campaign.”

Despite multiple repeated skin surgeries and rehabilitation treatments, Suho showed a bright smile during his time with Yoo Seon. It is hoped that many citizens will join Zaigle ZWC’s ‘O2gether’ Oxygen Campaign with actress Yoo Seon to brighten Suho’s future.
