[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kim Jeong-hwa, co-representative of the Minsaeng Party, criticized the Democratic Party of Korea on the 4th, saying, "Within the ruling party, there are open conspiracies to create satellite parties under the pretext of proportional election alliances," and added, "Democratic Party leader Lee Hae-chan remains silent and passive. Are you complicit in the Future United Party's malicious fraud that undermines legal order and confuses voters?"

At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Co-representative Kim said, "Whether it is a satellite party or a proportional alliance, the essence is nothing more than a proportional representation robbery," and added, "Is the ruling party trying to undermine the purpose of the mixed-member proportional representation system, which was a pledge of President Moon Jae-in? It is disgraceful to see them trying to nullify the electoral reform they themselves participated in."

Co-representative Kim sharply criticized, "The Future Korea Party is an international embarrassment rarely seen in advanced democratic countries of the 21st century," and said, "For the Future Korea Party, which threatens the constitution and laws, the term 'terrorist organization' would be more appropriate than 'political party.'"

Co-representative Kim stated, "If the Democratic Party proceeds with creating a satellite party just to secure a few proportional seats, it will suffer the worst failure, losing both justification and practical benefits," and added, "Any form of satellite party that distorts public opinion cannot escape the judgment of the people. The public will never forgive illegal acts that mock the law, carried out by any means to maintain vested interests."

Supreme Council member Hwang In-cheol pointed out, "Trick politics fail, and trick parties must be judged," and said, "After the emergence of trick Korea Party, trick Democratic Party, and trick People's Party targeting mixed-member proportional seats, now a trick electoral district delimitation plan targeting constituency seats has appeared."

Supreme Council member Hwang said, "Looking at the electoral district delimitation submitted yesterday, in the case of Jeonnam, it can only be seen as a trick electoral district delimitation plan beyond gerrymandering," and explained, "Because one electoral district exceeded the upper limit of 2,000 voters, the electoral districts of 13 cities and counties, which include nearly one million voters, were arbitrarily split and rearranged. This is nothing more and nothing less than a shallow trick to artificially distort public sentiment in existing electoral districts and change election results."
