KakaoTalk Message Sending and Receiving Errors... Kakao Confirms "Checking"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] On the morning of the 2nd, users experienced inconvenience due to message sending and receiving errors on 'KakaoTalk'.

From 9 a.m. that day, some users reported errors on KakaoTalk, such as messages not being sent and inability to log in on PC.

A Kakao representative said, "There was a brief error affecting some users," adding, "We are currently investigating the details internally."

Users were confused by the KakaoTalk errors and expressed their inconvenience through social networking services (SNS). On that day, 'KakaoTalk error' ranked high among the real-time trending search terms on portal sites.

KakaoTalk also experienced message sending and receiving errors on January 1st, prompting an immediate emergency inspection of KakaoTalk.
