[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] bhc Chicken continues its dominant trend in the partial meat market by launching the ‘Combo Series’ following the ‘Wingstar Series’.
bhc Chicken announced on the 2nd that, inspired by the explosive demand for the Wingstar Series, which sold 600,000 units within two months of its release, it has launched the Combo Series consisting of wing parts and chicken drumsticks.
The Combo Series consists of five flavors: ‘Bburinkle Combo’, ‘Matcho King Combo’, ‘Red King Combo’, ‘Fried Combo’, and ‘Gold King Combo’. While maintaining the same flavors as the Wingstar Series released last year, the new menu expands customer choices by adding chicken drumsticks to the previously wing-only options.
The menu expected to show the steepest growth among the Combo Series is the Gold King Combo. It features wings and drumsticks with rich juice and tender chicken, based on aged soy sauce and sweet honey, offering a ‘sweet and salty’ charm. The Gold King Wing from the Wingstar Series, coated with the same sauce, proved its popularity by achieving sales of 320,000 units within two months of its launch.
Additionally, there is a wide range of menu options including the Bburinkle Combo with Bburinkle seasoning, the Matcho King Combo that delivers the classic taste of oriental sauce, the Red King Combo boasting a sharp spiciness with Mapster sauce, and the Fried Combo that reaches the pinnacle of basic crispy and savory flavor.
