Candidate Yoon Jae-gap Confirmed as Democratic Party Candidate for Haenam, Wando, Jindo in April 15 General Election

In the 4.15 general election for the Haenam, Wando, and Jindo districts, which had attracted attention due to contests among relatives, candidate Yoon Jae-gap of the Democratic Party of Korea defeated candidate Yoon Gwang-guk to advance to the main election.

The Democratic Party's Nomination Management Committee announced that, based on the third primary election held from the 27th to the 29th using a 50% party members and 50% public opinion survey ARS (automatic response system) method, preliminary candidate Yoon Jae-gap secured the nomination.

In the main election, candidate Yoon Jae-gap will face incumbent lawmaker Yoon Young-il of the Minsheng Party, representing Haenam, Wando, and Jindo in Jeonnam.
