LG Electronics to Appoint Kwon Bong-seok and Bae Doo-yong as Inside Directors at Next Month's General Meeting

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] LG Electronics announced on the 28th that it will hold the 18th regular general meeting of shareholders at 9 a.m. on the 26th of next month at the Yeouido Twin Tower.

At the shareholders' meeting, LG Electronics plans to newly appoint President Kwon Bong-seok, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Vice President Bae Doo-yong, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as inside directors.

Professor Baek Yong-ho of Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Policy Science will be reappointed as an outside director and audit committee member.

LG Electronics will add "mail-order sales and e-commerce related business" to the company's purpose and handle the related articles of incorporation amendment at the shareholders' meeting.
