On the 28th, Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu announced at a press conference that four countries?Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Mongolia?have been added to the list of countries restricting entry of travelers coming from Japan due to COVID-19.
As of the 25th, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs had identified seven countries imposing entry restrictions: Micronesia, Samoa, Kiribati, Comoros, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands, and Israel.
