On the 28th, the People's Daily reported that China's daily production of N95 masks surpassed 1 million units on the 24th, and medical mask production exceeded 30 million units on the 25th. Including medical masks, N95 masks, and general masks, the nationwide daily mask production capacity in China is 72.85 million units, with actual daily production reaching 76.19 million units, indicating production beyond capacity.

The newspaper stated that China's mask supply shortage is somewhat alleviated, and explained that the Chinese government is fully committed to mask production, focusing on ensuring manpower, funding, equipment, logistics, and the supply of key raw materials for mask manufacturing companies.
