Hwasun-gun 'COVID-19 Prevention' Disinfection at Children's Parks and More

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 28th that it will disinfect playground equipment and park facilities at seven children's parks twice, on the 2nd and 5th of next month, to prevent COVID-19.

The county will focus on disinfecting playground equipment frequently used by children, as well as pergolas, pavilions, and exercise equipment mainly used by residents.

The product used for this disinfection is Dr. Clean AC, approved by the Ministry of Environment under approval number 2719-0054. It is a disinfectant diluted with water that sterilizes a wide range of pathogens and is effective in preventing COVID-19.

Along with disinfection, the county will conduct safety inspections of playground equipment and carry out maintenance and park environment improvements.

A county official stated, "To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are conducting disinfection through a professional sanitation company," adding, "We will monitor the situation and carry out additional disinfection efforts to protect the safety of park users and children."
