Including District Office Buildings and Dong Community Centers
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Guro-gu (Mayor Lee Seong) is temporarily allowing the use of disposable items in food service establishments to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the local community.
On the 26th, Guro-gu announced that it has implemented a temporary allowance for disposable items in food service establishments following the escalation of the crisis alert to 'Severe.'
With this measure, disposable items such as plastic cups and straws can be used in local coffee shops, restaurants, and other food service businesses. This also applies to workspaces and meeting rooms in the district office building, community service centers, and privately commissioned facilities.
Guro-gu stated that once the crisis alert level is lowered and the allowance period ends, further guidance will be provided.
A Guro-gu official urged, "We ask that special attention be paid to hygiene management even when using reusable containers."
