Pre-candidate Shin Jeong-hoon: "I will increase job opportunities for people with disabilities"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Shin Jeong-hoon, the Democratic Party of Korea preliminary candidate for the National Assembly in Naju·Hwasun, Jeonnam, announced on the 27th, "I pledge to expand job opportunities for people with disabilities and increase tailored budgets, and will actively work to realize this."

Preliminary candidate Shin Jeong-hoon stated, "We will form a public-private permanent policy council to establish an integrated community service support system focusing on welfare, education, and labor for people with disabilities, and work to expand local job opportunities for them," adding, "We will strengthen the integrated vocational service support model for people with disabilities according to regional characteristics, and increase job opportunities for people with disabilities by expanding support to comply with minimum legal standards for vocational rehabilitation facilities and to realize operational realities."

He also judged that there is an absolute shortage of sports facilities that people with disabilities can use comfortably, and plans to actively support the revitalization of sports for people with disabilities by promoting the construction of the 'Bandabi Sports Center,' a community-based sports facility for people with disabilities, and fostering professional teams.

He said, "We will expand the installation rate and designation of convenience facilities for people with disabilities to improve their mobility and increase opportunities for social participation, while also expanding tailored budgets for lifelong learning centers for people with disabilities, empathy healing classes, self-help groups, and welfare shelters for people with disabilities by type."

He added, "We will strive to discover and introduce sustainable policies for people with disabilities so that more people can feel the policy effects in a warmer world without distinctions or divisions."
