Candidate Kim Kyung-jin Promotes COVID-19 Prevention to Vulnerable Groups

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Kim Kyung-jin, a preliminary candidate for the National Assembly representing Buk-gu Gap, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is continuing efforts to prevent COVID-19 infection spread among vulnerable groups.

On the 27th, through an emergency quarantine meeting held at the local office, preliminary candidate Kim urged related organizations to prioritize support for small merchants and vulnerable groups, including placing hand sanitizers in traditional markets and providing quarantine supplies to vulnerable groups.

Additionally, Candidate Kim is actively promoting the ‘Care Activity Expert Dispatch Service’ targeting dual-income and multi-child families.

He stated, “Even looking at the Angel Free Meal Center in the district alone, activities have been suspended for a month, and the elderly who used it now have to worry about their meals,” emphasizing, “Considering the prolonged closure of social welfare facilities, the local community must come together to fill this gap.”

He continued, “Above all, a thorough survey of vulnerable groups urgently needing help from institutions such as district offices and health centers must be conducted,” and added, “We will make every effort to ensure relief supplies are prioritized for delivery to the elderly living alone, disabled persons, and children suffering from food insecurity.”
