[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Hyundai Home Shopping will be the first in the industry to sell 'Ravi Queen Tteokbokki,' which has gained attention on social networking services (SNS), in the early morning of the 29th. It is unusual for a home shopping company to broadcast food live at 1 a.m.


Hyundai Home Shopping announced on the 27th that it will showcase the Ravi Queen Tteokbokki product through the 'Youngstagram' broadcast starting at 1:10 a.m. on the 29th.


Youngstagram is a 'Friday Night' broadcast planned by Hyundai Home Shopping targeting customers in their 20s and 30s, introducing unique products that would interest the 2030 demographic.


On this broadcast, Hyundai Home Shopping plans to present 'Ravi Queen Tteokbokki 18 packs.' It is packaged with 9 packs of rice cakes and 9 packs of sauce, allowing consumers to cook according to their preference. Three types of sauces are provided: Original (5 packs), Spicy Carbonara (2 packs), and Spicy Jjajang (2 packs).


Ravi Queen Tteokbokki is a product gaining great popularity on SNS due to its stylish package design, easy cooking method, and sauces that can be used in other dishes.


On this broadcast, comedian Lee Su-ji, known as a representative gourmet in the entertainment industry, and actor Song Jin-woo, who has recently gained popularity for his cheerful wit on various variety shows, will provide various attractions under the concept of a 'mukbang broadcast.'


A Hyundai Home Shopping official said, "It is unusual to have a food broadcast live at 1 a.m.," adding, "Especially, tteokbokki is the most preferred snack among young people and is composed of products that can be easily cooked, making it perfect for customers in their 20s and 30s who prefer convenience foods."
