[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Korea Management Innovation Small and Medium Business Association (MainBiz Association) announced on the 26th that it has elected Seok Yongchan, CEO of Hwanam Industry, as the 4th president of the association through its regular general meeting.
Seok Yongchan, president of the MainBiz Association, is the CEO of Hwanam Industry, a manufacturer of plastic packaging molding containers, and Eunsung Precision Printing, a printing production company. President Seok will officially serve as the president of the MainBiz Association until February 2022.
President Seok expressed his thoughts, saying, "I will do my best to help small and medium enterprises grow into global mid-sized companies through management innovation support."
He added, "To this end, we will faithfully carry out urgent tasks such as enacting the Small and Medium Enterprise Management Innovation Promotion Act, improving the reduction of credit guarantee limits and strengthening ties with support organizations, expanding government consignment projects such as smart service projects for small and medium enterprises, and building a sharing and collaboration system through expanded exchanges among member companies."
The MainBiz Association was founded in January 2010 and currently discovers, verifies, and supports about 18,000 management innovation-type small and medium enterprises. The number of member companies reaches about 3,800.
