Park Neung-hoo: "The Biggest Cause of COVID-19 Spread Is Koreans Coming from China"

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Park Neung-hoo, Minister of Health and Welfare, stated on the 26th regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), "The biggest cause is Koreans coming from China."

Minister Park appeared at the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee plenary session that day and responded to lawmakers' questions, saying, "It was Koreans without symptoms like fever or cough who brought the infection source."

He also questioned, "We cannot quarantine all of those people," and asked, "How can we quarantine 2,000 people a day?"
