22-Year-Old Woman Recently Visited Daegu

Geoje City (Mayor Byun Kwang-yong) is briefing that a second confirmed case has occurred.

This woman is a foreign student living alone in Dong-gu, Daegu. On the 17th, she met a confirmed patient on the roadside in Dong-gu, greeted them, and then returned home by car to Sinam-dong.

From 7 PM on the 22nd, she experienced fever (37.9°C), dry cough, and phlegm symptoms. On the 23rd, she visited the Geoje Public Health Center screening clinic and was quarantined, and on the 25th, she was finally confirmed positive.

She is currently hospitalized in a negative pressure ward at Masan Medical Center, and her health condition is relatively good.
