According to Pohang City's epidemiological investigation, A participated in construction within the military unit in Mundeok-ri, Ocheon-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang City for two days on the 17th and 19th. According to the Marine Corps 1st Division and Pohang City, before A was confirmed positive on the 19th, he had lunch and dinner with seven workers at a restaurant near the unit, and the workers were also quarantined. The city also closed the restaurant near the Marine Corps where A dined with the workers and is conducting infection tests on the restaurant employees.

A Marine Corps 1st Division official stated, "The troops stationed at the unit are fewer than 10, and according to our own investigation, no soldiers had contact with the construction workers."
