The pre-order period runs for seven days from the 20th to the 26th, during which Galaxy S20 pre-orders are available nationwide at official dealerships and official online malls. Activation for pre-orders starts on the 28th, and the official release date is March 6.
The Galaxy S20 series, consisting of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra, differs from previous series in that the top-tier model is named ‘Ultra’ instead of ‘Plus’.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra, considered the main model of the Galaxy S20 series, features a 6.9-inch display and is known for being the first in the Galaxy series to offer a 108-megapixel camera and 100x digital zoom, drawing attention as it is expected to popularize 100-megapixel smartphone cameras.
Additionally, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 Plus support 64-megapixel cameras and 30x digital zoom, with screen sizes of 6.2 inches and 6.7 inches respectively.
The Galaxy S20 series, which appears to have received significant improvements in camera performance from Samsung Electronics, also saw price increases compared to previous models: the Galaxy S20 is priced at 1,248,500 KRW, the Galaxy S20 Plus at 1,353,000 KRW, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra at 1,595,000 KRW.
Meanwhile, the online pre-order specialist cafe ‘Phone Master’ is gaining great popularity among consumers for its Galaxy S20 series pre-orders.
