[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] Busan Nam-gu Library will reopen on the 21st after five months of remodeling construction.

Nam-gu Library, which first opened in Daeyeon 5-dong, Nam-gu in 1997, has been newly reborn as a resident-friendly cultural complex space through this improvement project.

The first-floor entrance periodicals room was improved into a book cafe, and the entire third floor was integrated and opened as one space to expand the previously insufficient general reference room, with reading spaces installed throughout.

Also, the four reading rooms on the fourth floor, which were used like study rooms, were integrated, and a new literature reference room was established to create a system where literary books can be separately borrowed and read on the fourth floor.

Two new club rooms were also prepared to support employment study groups and clubs. On the fourth floor, there is also a laptop room designed as a reading room concept, a Dream Oreum Room for self-development, and two lecture rooms for various reading program classes.
