[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 19th, lawyer Kim Nam-guk, who announced his intention to run for the Gangseo-gap district in Seoul, said to Kim Hae-young, a Supreme Council member of the Democratic Party of Korea, "Why are you looking for experienced workers when hiring new employees?"

On the same day, Lawyer Kim posted on his Facebook, "If you ask me, a political newcomer, what I have achieved for young people in the political arena, I don't know how to answer," emphasizing, "I am not an 'experienced worker'."

He said, "I am Kim Nam-guk, a new employee who has just entered politics to solve people's livelihood issues," and added, "'Youth Supreme Council member' Kim is the one who should have worked hard for youth issues and the expansion of youth politics."

Lawyer Kim asked, "Do you see any young candidates in this general election?" and said, "The person who should reflect and look back is Supreme Council member Kim. I have a lot to say, but I will stop here."

He continued, "I hope the blade of criticism is used to fight against external vested interests, injustice, and corruption, not within the democratic progressive camp or young politicians challenging the status quo," adding, "Now is not the time to shoot inward. It is time to approach the election more humbly, more modestly, and more desperately."

Earlier that morning, at the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly, Supreme Council member Kim advised Lawyer Kim Nam-guk, "I recommend you to ask yourself whether you have realized the spirit of youth in the political arena."
