[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seong-yeol] Comedian Park Seong-gwang (40) is getting married.
According to a report by the sports media outlet 'Ilgan Sports' on the 18th, Park Seong-gwang is scheduled to hold a wedding ceremony with his non-celebrity girlfriend at a hotel in Seoul on May 2.
The bride-to-be is known to be a regular office worker. Previously, Park Seong-gwang described his ideal type as "someone a bit small in stature and who has a clear dream," revealing some details about his partner.
The couple took wedding photos last month and has been gradually sharing the news with close acquaintances.
Park Seong-gwang debuted in 2007 as a KBS 22nd class public recruitment comedian and gained fans' love through 'Gag Concert' segments such as 'The World That Makes Me Sad,' 'Park Daebak,' and 'Focused Discussion.' In 2008, he won the Rookie Award at the KBS Entertainment Awards.
In 2018, he experienced a second heyday by appearing on MBC's 'The Manager' with former manager Song Yi. Recently, he has been actively performing as part of the 'dog singer group' Marun Five, formed with Heo Kyung-hwan, Park Young-jin, Kim Won-hyo, and Kim Ji-ho.
