[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that on the 12th, it signed a business agreement with the National Federation of City, County, and District Public Officials Labor Unions (hereinafter referred to as the City, County, and District Federation) to actively cooperate and wish for the successful hosting of the '2021 Wando International Seaweed Expo.'

The signing ceremony was attended by Wando County Governor Shin Woo-cheol, executives of the City, County, and District Federation, the Jeonnam Federation (Chairman Park Kyung-min), and the Wando County Public Officials Labor Union (Chairman Kim Wan-joo).

Wando-gun will hold the '2021 Wando International Seaweed Expo' from April 23 to May 16 next year at Wando Beach Park and Sinji Myeongsasimni area under the theme 'Healing Sea, a Future of Hope Opened by Seaweed.'

The '2021 Wando International Seaweed Expo,' which has received government approval as an international event for three consecutive times, plans to become an industrial expo linked to the marine healing industry that will be responsible for Wando-gun's next 100 years.

The county has made great efforts to maintain a cooperative relationship between labor and management, and the City, County, and District Federation visited the Wando County Public Officials Labor Union through outreach meetings to listen to and exchange opinions with union executives on current issues.

Wando County Governor Shin Woo-cheol stated that he plans to promote the modernization project of the outdated official residences over six years and said, "The 2021 Wando International Seaweed Expo will be an important opportunity to promote the seaweed industry worldwide, and I express my deep gratitude for signing the business agreement with the City, County, and District Federation."
