Congratulations Messages Pour in from All Walks of Life
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jaehee] Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, sent a congratulatory message on Twitter on the 9th (local time) to the film 'Parasite' and director Bong Joon-ho, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Harry Harris, the U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, also congratulated director Bong Joon-ho on 'Parasite' being the first Korean film to win the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, saying, "I look forward to more awards." Meanwhile, director Bong Joon-ho's film 'Parasite' captured global attention by winning four awards at the 92nd Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best International Feature Film, and Best Original Screenplay. 'Parasite' is the first foreign-language film ever to win Best Picture.
