[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Attorney Kang Yongseok has been accused of fabricating the assault case involving famous blogger 'Dodommam' Kim Mina.

According to Dispatch on the 4th, Attorney Kang proposed to fabricate the 2015 assault case involving Kim as a case of aggravated rape and injury, and suggested demanding a large settlement from Mr. A, a senior executive at a securities company who was the perpetrator.

Earlier, Dodommam claimed that in March 2015, she got into an assault dispute with Mr. A at a bar in Sinsa-dong, during which Mr. A hit her with a beer bottle. The complaint also stated that Mr. A attempted to make physical contact with Dodommam against her will.

The prosecution decided not to indict Mr. A, judging that there was no charge of forcible molestation. Regarding the special injury charge, Dodommam and Mr. A reached a settlement, and the case was deferred from prosecution.

Dispatch reported that Attorney Kang suggested to Dodommam to add the charge of forcible molestation to increase the settlement amount related to the case.

According to the conversation disclosed by Dispatch, Attorney Kang said, "How about aggravated rape and injury? We could get between 300 million and 500 million won."

Dispatch also reported that Attorney Kang said, "It doesn't matter whether rape occurred or not. Even if injury happened during forcible molestation, it's aggravated rape and injury. Whether rape is established or not doesn't matter."

In particular, Attorney Kang advised undergoing media play and investigations at the One-Stop Center, which is a center for protecting the human rights of victims such as women and children and for victim recovery.

In response, Dodommam reportedly said, "Does rape even apply? I would have to lie when giving a statement," and "Mr. A did not try to touch me at all."

Attorney Kang's side has not issued a statement regarding these reports.
