[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Jeonbuk Province announced on the 29th that it held a report meeting on the promotion plan for the 10 core projects chaired by Vice Governor Choi Yong-beom, focusing on thoroughly reviewing the promotion plans to ensure that the 2020 policy goals produce visible and clear policy effects.
The report meeting was conducted with presentations of the 2020 goals and promotion plans to achieve policy outcomes for each of the 10 core projects. Jeonbuk Province plans to continue holding quarterly progress report meetings and combine them with on-site administration to concentrate its administrative capabilities on managing the 10 core projects intensively so that tangible policy results appear.
The 10 core projects are ▲ Establishment of the Asia Smart Agro-Life Valley ▲ Construction of the Saemangeum Renewable Energy Cluster ▲ Fostering the Future Eco-friendly Commercial Vehicle Industry ▲ Achieving Results of the Jeonbuk Win-Win Job Model ▲ Creation of a Sustainable Financial Industry Ecosystem ▲ Strengthening Jeonbuk’s Specialized Travel and Experience Content ▲ Ensuring the Successful Hosting of Four Major Events under the Theme “Fall in Love with Jeonbuk!” ▲ Accelerating Saemangeum SOC Construction and Internal Development ▲ Improvement of Three Major Harmful Environments: Fine Dust, Odor, and Waste ▲ Expansion of Public Medical Infrastructure and Elimination of Medical Disparities.
Vice Governor Choi Yong-beom said, “This year is an important time when Jeonbuk Province must take vigorous steps toward a great leap forward based on the foundation it has built so far,” adding, “To achieve administrative outcomes, we will enhance the completeness of major policies and especially focus our administrative capabilities on the 10 core projects to produce clear and concrete policy results that residents can feel.”
He continued, “Each department head should thoroughly analyze and respond to issues and challenges to achieve the goals of the core projects,” and added, “Please also put effort into policy promotion so that residents can receive updates on the progress of each project at any time.”
