Daegu·Gyeongbuk Two Men Suspected of Novel Coronavirus Both Test 'Negative' Amid the spreading fear of the novel coronavirus infection known as 'Wuhan pneumonia,' office workers are heading to work wearing masks.

According to Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province on the 28th, a total of two men, one each from Daegu and Gyeongbuk, showed suspected symptoms of the novel coronavirus such as high fever and were tested at Kyungpook National University Hospital, with negative results.


Mr. A, who lives in Daegu, reported symptoms similar to a cold after returning from China and underwent testing, while Mr. B, who has ties to Gyeongbuk, is known to have visited Wuhan, China.


There are 12 individuals under active monitoring in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. There are 8 contacts and 4 suspected reporters. The cumulative total so far was 13, but one person has been released from monitoring.
