At around 7:46 PM on the 25th, an accident presumed to be a gas explosion occurred at a pension in Eodal-dong, Donghae City, Gangwon Province, resulting in 9 people sustaining serious and minor injuries.

The fire was immediately extinguished after the fire department responded to the fire report.

A fire department official stated, "Seven people, including one in cardiac arrest, sustained serious injuries, and two are presumed to have minor injuries."
