Preliminary Candidate Shin Jeong-hoon Announces Pledges During Hwasun Livelihood Tour Site Visit

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Shin Jeong-hoon, the Democratic Party of Korea preliminary candidate for the National Assembly member of Naju·Hwasun, Jeonnam, announced his campaign promises for the Hwasun area during a livelihood tour at the Hwasun Goindol Traditional Market on the 23rd.

Preliminary candidate Shin Jeong-hoon stated, “I have prepared many things for President Moon Jae-in and the development of Hwasun,” and added, “I will focus on steadily promoting the biopharmaceutical industry of Hwasun and the electrification of the Gyeongjeon Line, which the President promised.”

He continued, “I promise to support Hwasun County’s efforts to enhance the competitiveness of the biopharmaceutical industry through attracting the ‘National Vaccine Product Technology Support Center’ and the ‘National Vaccine Immunotherapy Research Institute,’ as well as establishing a second biopharmaceutical industrial complex.”

He also pledged, “In line with the government’s additional relocation of public institutions, I will actively attract public enterprises and promising companies to Hwasun County and Naju Innovation City to create quality jobs and revitalize the local economy.”

He introduced a policy to foster Hwasun as the nation’s only pilot city to adopt the concept of Brain Food, which means “Eating agricultural products produced in Hwasun makes you healthier and smarter,” aiming to increase health for consumers and income for farmers.

Additionally, leveraging the experience of introducing the nation’s first village taxi (100-won taxi), he promised to develop Hwasun as a My Car taxi pilot city so that people of all ages can use it easily and conveniently.

Preliminary candidate Shin Jeong-hoon said, “I will actively implement livelihood pledges that reach into the lives of Hwasun residents, politics that empower agriculture and rural areas, and a country where there is hope even in local regions.”
