[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Jang Jeong-sook, floor leader of the Alternative New Party, criticized former Bareunmirae Party lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo's remark on the 23rd that the Moon Jae-in administration is a "3-no (無) government" lacking ability, democracy, and fairness, saying, "I don't understand why someone who criticizes the Moon Jae-in administration so harshly always remains silent about the conservative right-wing forces."

At the Supreme Council and National Assembly members joint meeting held in a conference room inside Yongsan Station, Seoul, Jang said, "I also suspect it might be because they will soon be forces working together."

Jang sharpened her words, saying, "Former lawmaker Ahn may argue that he did not abandon Honam, but it is hard to accept," and "He clearly betrayed Honam."

Jang stated, "Our party must carry out all planning, publicity, and organizational activities based on an accurate understanding of the meaning and role of Honam," and added, "We must fully commit to party activities with a clear direction so that Honam's opinion leaders can recognize our party as soon as possible."

Choi Kyung-hwan, leader of the Alternative New Party, regarding the third zone integration, said, "The Alternative New Party was founded to overcome national division and political harm caused by the hostile symbiotic system of the two major vested parties and to promote the integration of the fragmented third political forces," and "We will work together with all political forces that agree with the cause of reform and integration."

Choi said, "Although the roundtable discussion before the Lunar New Year proposed by the Alternative New Party did not materialize, there was an achievement in raising consensus on the integration of the moderate reform camp among the third forces," and "Based on this consensus, we will continue dialogues through various channels during the Lunar New Year holiday."
