Haneul: "We Will Strive to Be a Good Person and a Good Company"
Power Abuse Controversy Arises from JobPlanet Reviews
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Haneul, a shopping mall CEO and YouTuber, expressed her feelings regarding allegations of power abuse.
On the 22nd, Haneul wrote on her Instagram, "I am sorry for causing concern to many people due to unpleasant matters," adding, "Today was a more difficult day than any other. Actions I did not take are being accepted as facts, and it seems that misunderstandings and unfounded suspicions have hurt those who like me, which pains my heart."
She continued, "Having met many good people throughout my growth, my values of valuing people have not changed, but I think this is a lesson to be more considerate and to become a broader and deeper person. I will strive to become a good person and run a good company."
Recently, a work review related to 'HaneulHaneul' was posted on the corporate information sharing site 'JobPlanet' in an online community. 'HaneulHaneul' is an underwear shopping mall operated by Haneul.
According to the post, a netizen A, presumed to be a former employee of 'HaneulHaneul,' criticized, "Even when they do wrong, they don't realize it and just flatter their way out, and the company forgives everything. The CEO only comes to work when filming YouTube videos. Everything is at the CEO's discretion. Yesterday, they praised me for doing well; today, they get angry about why I did it that way."
They added, "Phone calls at dawn are standard, and if the CEO goes abroad for a trip, employees have to adjust to that time zone. They call on weekends, nights, and early mornings," and said, "The CEO thinks employees should adjust to them anytime, whether at dawn or on weekends, as long as they get paid. The CEO is the only princess, and employees are their shuttle."
On the 26th of last month, another netizen B also posted criticism of Haneul. He stated, "She treats employees like her own slaves," and "She called a newly hired employee into the meeting room to intimidate them and suddenly hit their head with a pen."
Additionally, the company operated by Haneul was controversial for having a turnover rate exceeding 90% on the corporate information site 'CreditJob.'
Afterward, Haneul denied the allegations through YouTube comments, saying, "I have never behaved like that."
Regarding the turnover rate, she explained, "When we started manufacturing and sales, we judged that it was impossible to store and stack cosmetics, which are prone to discoloration and deterioration, in the existing in-house logistics warehouse, so during the process of moving to third-party logistics optimized for cosmetics storage, existing logistics staff resigned or transferred, which caused this."

Hello, this is Haneul.
First of all, I am sorry for causing concern to many people due to unpleasant matters.
Today was a more difficult day than any other. Actions I did not take are being accepted as facts, and it seems that misunderstandings and unfounded suspicions have hurt those who like me, which pains my heart.
Having met many good people throughout my growth, my values of valuing people have not changed, but I think this is a lesson to be more considerate and to become a broader and deeper person.
I will strive to become a good person and run a good company.
Once again, I apologize for causing concern.
