[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Former Bareunmirae Party lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo is scheduled to have a luncheon meeting on the 28th, right after the Lunar New Year holiday, with 17 Bareunmirae Party lawmakers (excluding Park Joo-hyun, Lee Sang-don, and Jang Jeong-sook, who are not active in the party).

According to Ahn’s side on the 22nd, the attendees include Kim Dong-chul, Park Joo-sun, Joo Seung-yong, Lee Chan-yeol, Kwon Eun-hee, Kim Kwan-young, Kim Sung-sik, Park Sun-sook, Kim Sam-hwa, Kim Soo-min, Kim Jung-ro, Shin Yong-hyun, Lee Dong-seop, Lee Tae-gyu, Lim Jae-hoon, Chae Yi-bae, and Choi Do-ja, totaling 17 members.

At this luncheon, broad discussions are expected regarding the practical centrist party and the future direction of the Bareunmirae Party.

Separately from the luncheon with the Bareunmirae Party lawmakers, former lawmaker Ahn plans to meet soon with Bareunmirae Party leader Sohn Hak-kyu. Leader Sohn told reporters after the Supreme Council meeting that day that he had not yet received contact from Ahn’s side.
