North Korea: "If the US persists with unilateral demands and sanctions, we will seek a new path"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] North Korea emphasized that if the United States continues to impose sanctions in the future, it will have no choice but to seek a new path.

According to major foreign media on the 21st (local time), Ju Yong-cheol, Counsellor of the North Korean Mission in Geneva, stated this at the United Nations Disarmament Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland, saying, "There is no longer any reason to be unilaterally bound by promises that the other party does not respect."

Ju added, "If the United States continues its hostile policy toward North Korea, denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula will never happen."
