According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the previous day (21st), the country will be mostly cloudy as it gradually comes under the influence of an approaching pressure trough over the western sea of Jeju Island.

The morning low temperatures are expected to be △Seoul -2°C △Daejeon -1°C △Daegu 0°C △Busan 4°C △Jeonju 0°C △Gwangju 1°C △Cheongju -1°C △Chuncheon -4°C △Gangneung 3°C △Jeju 8°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 5°C.

The daytime high temperatures are forecasted to be △Seoul 7°C △Daejeon 7°C △Daegu 8°C △Busan 11°C △Jeonju 7°C △Gwangju 8°C △Cheongju 7°C △Chuncheon 6°C △Gangneung 9°C △Jeju 14°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 9°C.

Fine dust levels will generally be 'moderate', but in the Seoul metropolitan area, air stagnation will cause fine dust to accumulate, resulting in higher concentrations.

Meanwhile, the Korea Meteorological Administration urged, "Heavy rain is expected in Jeju Island and the southern coast, and somewhat heavy rain in Chungcheong Province and other southern regions. As the frozen ground temporarily melts, there is a possibility of landslides on slopes and collapse of retaining walls, so please be especially cautious about safety accidents."
