"The Era of Skepticism Ends... The American Dream Has Grown Bigger and Stronger Than Ever"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] U.S. President Donald Trump said on the 21st (local time), "America is in the midst of an economic boom the world has never seen before," adding, "America is prospering and winning again, unlike before."

In his keynote speech at the 50th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting held in Davos, Switzerland, President Trump stated, "We have made progress again and revived the strong system of American companies."

He emphasized, "I knew that if we cut taxes and drastically reduced regulations to unleash the potential of the people, prosperity would be revived at a record pace in a short period of time. That is exactly what we did and what happened."

President Trump continued, "There is a blue-collar boom. The American Dream has returned, bigger and stronger than ever," adding, "The time for skepticism is over."

He also mentioned that before his inauguration, the U.S. had been losing jobs to other countries, saying, "This is probably the main reason I ran for president," and added, "I was elected to fix this (job issue)."
