Surinamese Handsome Fighter Jang Jin-young Draws Attention with TV Appearance

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] The handsome fighter Jang Jinyoung, who maintains dual citizenship between Suriname and South Korea and has even completed his military service, appeared on 'Neighbor Charles,' drawing the attention of netizens.

On the 21st, KBS1's 'Neighbor Charles' featured Jang Jinyoung from Suriname.

In the broadcast, Jang Jinyoung introduced himself as a "UFC hopeful from Suriname," stating, "I speak Surinamese and Dutch." Suriname is located in the northern part of South America.

Jang Jinyoung, who grew up in Gangneung, his father's hometown, started living in Seoul with the dream of becoming a mixed martial arts fighter.

However, Jang Jinyoung had no fixed schedule, and he often took a long time to choose even a single item at convenience stores, which caused complaints from his gym friends.

In particular, Jang Jinyoung explained that the reason he can live in Seoul is thanks to the support of Kim Donghyun, the gym director and fellow fighter.

He added, "I must do my best for the directors who support me wholeheartedly so that I can focus solely on training."

His roommate, who lives with him, said about Jang Jinyoung, "Jinyoung is very kind. If I come home late, he stays up waiting and is a serious type, so he has a somewhat unfun personality," which brought laughter.
