[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] The 'Garo Sero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon), which raised allegations of sexual assault against singer Kim Gun-mo, is causing controversy by revealing unverified facts related to the private life of Kim Gun-mo's wife, Jang Ji-yeon.

According to a report by Ten Asia on the 21st, the Gaseyeon cast made statements such as "Jang Ji-yeon had complicated relationships with men" and "I heard she dated and even lived with actor A" during a lecture held at Daegu EXCO Auditorium on the 18th.

Former entertainment reporter Kim Yong-ho said, "I heard she dated actor A in the past and even lived together. She even visited A while A was filming abroad," he said.

Reporter Kim added, "When Jang Ji-yeon met A, she often boasted about it to those around her."

In response, Kim Gun-mo's agency, Geoneum Planning, stated, "We are currently looking for the recording of the lecture where these remarks were made," adding, "It is absolutely unacceptable to attack the family by bringing up unverified relationships that have nothing to do with the marriage. We will take legal action against the public mockery of unconfirmed stories."

Previously, in December last year, Gaseyeon raised allegations that Kim Gun-mo sexually assaulted employee B at a nightlife establishment in August 2016 and assaulted female manager C at a nightlife establishment in January 2007.

Subsequently, lawyer Kang Yong-seok filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Kim Gun-mo on behalf of B. Kim Gun-mo's side completely denied the sexual assault charges and filed a countersuit.

Kim Gun-mo appeared as a suspect at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station on the 15th and was questioned for about 12 hours. It is known that Kim admitted to having visited the bar but completely denied the sexual assault allegations.
