Yeonggwang-gun's 'Seol Holiday Comprehensive Measures' Implementation

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 21st that it will implement a 'Comprehensive Plan for the Lunar New Year Holiday' for four days starting from the 24th to ensure a comfortable holiday for returning visitors and residents.

The comprehensive plan for the Lunar New Year holiday involves seven emergency duty teams composed of 56 members daily, excluding those on duty, who will promptly respond to civil complaints closely related to residents' lives such as traffic, price stabilization, and water supply during the holiday period.

Since the holiday period is short and Lunar New Year’s Day coincides with the weekend, severe traffic congestion is expected. Therefore, guidance and enforcement will be conducted in congested traffic areas, and accident prevention education will be provided to transportation company workers.

Emergency medical treatment and preparation for infectious disease outbreaks will be carried out at health centers and health clinics, and duty medical institutions and pharmacies will also operate.

Except for the 25th (Lunar New Year’s Day), household waste will be collected normally, and a 24-hour emergency water supply situation room will be operated to support emergency water supply and restoration measures in case of water supply-related complaints or outages.
