Min Hyung-bae Preliminary Candidate "Will Actively Support Jobs for Picture Book Education Instructors"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Min Hyung-bae, a preliminary candidate of the Democratic Party for the National Assembly election in Gwangsan-gu (Eul), Gwangju Metropolitan City, has pledged to actively support job creation for 'Picture Book Education Instructors.'

On the 20th, Min attended the general meeting of the Picture Book Research Institute held at the Gwangsan-gu Public Activity Support Center and stated, "During my tenure as the head of Gwangsan-gu, I established a training course for picture book education instructors and achieved considerable results," adding, "I will support the nationwide expansion of picture book education to contribute to job creation."

During his term as district mayor, Min was the first among Gwangju local governments to open a lifelong learning course for picture book education instructors and built the 'Iyagi Kkot Library,' a picture book-specialized library, in Seonam-dong.

Women who experienced career interruptions have obtained qualifications as picture book education instructors and are employed as after-school class instructors, while seniors in their 60s and 70s are provided opportunities to participate in picture book storytelling volunteer activities.
