KCC Grants Conditional Approval for SKB-T-Broad Merger

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] On the 20th, the Korea Communications Commission announced that it has approved the merger of SK Broadband and T-Broad with 14 conditions and 3 recommendations attached.

The KCC stated, "The review focused on seeking ways to ensure the public nature and locality of broadcasting," adding, "We will encourage the merged entity to fulfill its public role as a broadcasting operator."
