Fire in Milyang House... 80-Year-Old Grandmother Living Alone Suffers Burns

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] At around 2:37 a.m. on the 19th, a fire broke out at a house in Sangdong-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, where an 80-year-old grandmother A, living alone, sustained minor burns on her face and other areas and was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The fire burned the interior of the house (30㎡) and household items, causing property damage estimated at 5.5 million won (according to the fire department), and was extinguished in about 40 minutes.

The fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
