Completed Safety Experience School Training Course Over 2 Days and 1 Night
Fostering Safety Awareness Ahead of On-Site Training

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] Daelim Industrial is conducting safety training for new employees in 2020.

Daelim Industrial announced on the 17th that it has been conducting a 1-night, 2-day safety training program since the 16th at the Safety Experience School in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do. A Daelim Industrial official explained, "Our policy is to instill safety awareness through systematic safety education starting from the new employee orientation course."

The Safety Experience School consists of a total of 19 training and experience facilities. New employees directly experience fall and overturn situations, which frequently occur at construction sites, and practice wearing and using various safety equipment such as safety belts, helmets, safety shoes, and descenders to prevent accidents. They also acquire crisis response skills through fire suppression, rescue methods in case of suffocation accidents, CPR, and emergency treatment practice.

This safety training was prepared to cultivate safety awareness and improve crisis response capabilities of employees before on-site training. New employees who complete the safety training will be assigned to various construction sites nationwide after enhancing their understanding and adaptability to construction projects.

Daelim Industrial opened the Safety Experience School in January last year and strengthened education for safety awareness reform. In addition to Daelim Industrial employees, education has been provided to external stakeholders such as partners, students, and public officials, with a total of about 2,600 people completing the Safety Experience School training over 102 sessions in the past year.
