Transplanting Existing Core Content 'Sohwansoo' to Suit a New Genre
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Com2uS announced on the 17th that the project name for the global hit "Summoners War" multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) has been finalized as "Summoners War: Chronicle."
"Summoners War: Chronicle" is a mobile MMORPG that tells the story set 70 years before the original "Summoners War." It plans to transplant the existing core content of "summoned creatures" into a new genre, offering a unique and unprecedented experience.
Players can choose up to three distinctive characters and engage in real-time battles with up to three summoned creatures per character. Sharing of summoned creatures and resources between characters is also possible, enabling diverse gameplay based on numerous strategic choices.
Com2uS aims to target the global market with major mobile games such as "Summoners War: Hundred Years' War" and "Summoners War: Chronicle," based on the "Summoners War Universe Bible," which encompasses the 150-year lore of Summoners War.
Com2uS is developing "Summoners War: Chronicle" with the goal of an official launch in the second half of this year and is actively recruiting talented personnel to join the project to enhance game quality and expand content. Eun-jae Lee, head of Com2uS, stated, "We are dedicating ourselves to development to meet the expectations of countless game fans worldwide and deliver a highly polished work."
