On the 16th, KPGA stated, "After meeting with Chairman Koo Ja-chul and discussing, Choi Kyung-ju has finally accepted the position of Vice Chairman." The term is until 2023. Chairman Koo, who was unanimously elected as the 18th new chairman at the extraordinary general meeting last November, requested Choi Kyung-ju, who is active on the PGA Tour, to serve as Vice Chairman. Choi Kyung-ju is the first Korean player to enter the PGA Tour. He has won a total of 8 times on the PGA Tour, the most wins among Asian players.

Starting from scratch, he has stood shoulder to shoulder with the world's best players and become a role model for many junior players. Since 2011, he has been hosting a tournament under his own name as the first in Asia, dedicating efforts to the development of Korean professional golf. He returned home on the 15th after completing a four-week winter training in China.
