According to the Gyeonggi-do Traffic Information Center at around 7:13 a.m. on the 15th, a bus collision near the Suwon Interchange (IC) on the Seoul to Busan direction resulted in the closure of lanes 1, 2, and 3.
Subsequently, tbs Traffic Broadcasting reported, "Due to the handling of a four-bus collision accident on lanes 1, 2, and 3 of the southbound Gyeongbu Expressway near Suwon IC, there is congestion over a 7 km section. On the opposite side, lane 1 is congested over a 4 km section due to accident handling at the same location. Please drive carefully."
Currently, there is congestion from Hannam IC to Jamwon IC to Banpo IC to Seocho IC. From Seocho IC to Yangjae IC, traffic is moving slowly.
