[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) announced on the 14th that it held a donation ceremony for the '2020 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Project' sponsorship fund with Shin Aju (Chairman Moon Jae-young).
At this ceremony, Shin Aju CEO Lee Joo-ha attended and donated 30 million won, and the donation will be used to support the living expenses of low-income residents.
Shin Aju is managed by Chairman Moon Jae-young, the second son of the late Moon Tae-sik, Honorary Chairman of Aju Group, who donated private assets worth approximately 40 billion won in May 2013 for the development of the Jungnang-gu area and youth scholarship projects.
The company has consistently donated warm winter funds and scholarships, including 9 million won in 2017 and 10 million won in 2018, supporting low-income children.
Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, "I deeply thank Chairman Moon Jae-young and the Shin Aju officials who continue the will of the late Moon Tae-sik, the donation hero and Honorary Chairman of Aju Group, by supporting low-income residents in the area with warm hearts every year," and added, "We will ensure the sponsorship funds are delivered to those in need."
