Jeonnam Central Child Protection Agency Selected as an Excellent Institution in the 'Child Protection Agency Performance Evaluation'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Guk-yeop] The Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency announced on the 14th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the Child Protection Agency Performance Evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award.

The performance evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare was conducted on 67 child protection agencies nationwide that were established before December 31, 2017, and six excellent institutions were selected.

The performance evaluation comprehensively assessed the appropriateness and responsiveness of report reception, field investigation, and processing procedures, support for victimized children and their families, follow-up management, psychological treatment areas, organizational operation, and external cooperation.

Yoo Ki-yong, head of the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency, said, “We will continue to provide more specialized services to children and families suffering from abuse in the local community,” and added, “We hope positive changes will occur for children and their families through our agency.”
