[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Heo Midam] The Liberty Korea Party dismissed YouTuber Nadaeun, who had been controversial for past statements supporting former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, just three days after appointing her as a member of the Pledge Development Team. Meanwhile, Lee Jun-seok, Chairman of the Young Party Vision Committee of the New Conservative Party, said, "Where has the Saenuri Party, which looked more like an election machine that I saw, gone?"

On the 12th, Lee posted on his Facebook, saying, "Why does the well-organized expert group I saw back then look different these days?"

He said, "Eight years ago, when I was recruited, I was surprised by the dedication of the leader who made multiple calls and even met me in person to recruit me. I admired the planning ability that optimally utilized what I had, and I was grateful for the weight that served as a fence allowing me, a newcomer to politics, to adapt without shrinking despite several initial mistakes. Perhaps it was a good environment with nothing lacking for a young politician trying and learning politics for the first time."

He also recalled, "I remember the days when I first entered the party headquarters eight years ago and half-jokingly asked, 'But where is the comment army at the party headquarters?' as commonly portrayed on the internet."

He continued, "These days, I feel mixed emotions seeing the 'older brothers' who raised me declare their withdrawal from elections and resist like throwing eggs at rocks, only to become truly broken eggs."

He added, "They were people who should have become chicks and then chickens, not broken eggs. Some of them I was sure were eagle eggs, though I thought they were ordinary eggs," and ended his post by questioning, "Am I now barely a quail egg?"

Earlier that day, the Liberty Korea Party dismissed YouTuber Nadaeun, who had been recruited as a member of the Hope Pledge Development Team, just three days after her appointment.

The Liberty Korea Party's Hope Pledge Development Team stated, "Considering the controversy surrounding Ms. Na, we judged that she was not suitable for pledge development activities based on the party's identity and principles."

In a press release, the Liberty Korea Party said, "Considering the related controversy, we decided to dismiss Ms. Na from the pledge development activities based on the party's identity and principles."

Ms. Na, who runs the YouTube channel 'Nadaeun TV,' is a former editor-in-chief of a women's internet media outlet.

However, controversy arose after it was revealed that Ms. Na had posted on her blog a photo from a 'Protect Cho Kuk' rally held in Seocho-dong, Seoul, along with a message saying, "The people are fighting united with the spirits of independence activists from 100 years ago. It is to defend and protect my country from rotting due to a corrupt prosecution. The public sentiment for prosecution reform is the will of heaven."

Additionally, Ms. Na was known to have posted supportive messages for the Democratic Party on her Twitter, such as "Cheer up, Democratic Party," and "Representative Lee Hae-chan's opening remarks are very good!!"
