Bflysoft Appoints Professor Pilseong Kang of Korea University’s Department of Industrial Management Engineering as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to Lead Research and Development

Bflysoft (CEO Kyunghwan Lim) announced the appointment of Professor Pilseong Kang from Korea University’s Department of Industrial Management Engineering, an expert in artificial intelligence and machine learning, as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Professor Kang earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University. He then worked in the Customer Value Management (CVM) planning team at Hyundai Card. Afterward, he served at the Department of Global Convergence Industrial Engineering at Seoul National University of Science and Technology and is currently a professor at Korea University’s Department of Industrial Management Engineering. Leading the Data Science and Business Analytics Lab, he has collaborated with companies such as Samsung Electronics and NCSoft in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Meanwhile, Bflysoft serves as the official distributor of news copyrights for the Korea Press Foundation and strives to create new value through media big data information and AI technology. Last year, it acquired Wego (formerly UbiOne), a specialized AI technology company, and is preparing related services such as WegoMon, a monitoring platform that integrates media big data and AI. Additionally, Bflysoft is collaborating on the “Roseus” project with the Roseus Media Alliance Group to build a news content distribution platform by combining AI and blockchain technologies based on hundreds of billions of media big data collected by Bflysoft over the past 15 years.
